Still Macless

Apple has had my computer since the 26th of April.
I am told that the part they need to replace, the main logic board, is ON ORDER.
Since the 28th of April. (Okay, how is it that Apple has to order a part from itself and it takes two weeks to get there???)
I could go online right now and order a main logic board and have it delivered to my house in 24 hours.
In fact, it would take less time for me to grow a whole litter of logic boards in a petri dish in my kitchen.
If anyone has any ideas about how I might be able to get my computer back soon, I would really, really like to hear them.

Call up PETA. People for the Ethical Treatment of Apples. I think they hang out at Stumptown. Or maybe Am-Mac-Nesty International?

I say that you dress up like a hot bondage sex kitten (including whip and red leather boots) and strut your ass into the Apple store saying, "Alright. Who's in charge here?" and then give one of those Eartha Kitt growls.

Wait to see them line up and service your mac.

That would be so awesome. You should totally do it.

Yeah, you should totally do that. I bet they find an extra logic board in the back right quick!

Sigh.
This brilliant plan will not work, as my ibook has been sent away to Apple.
