Off Hiatus

Hello hearts.
I have been on the hiatus for a bit because of something that has happened in my personal life. I had an argument with someone who is very important to me. The argument was quite without merit. But it happened nonetheless. It was about politics, just prior to the midterm elections.
Things were said in haste that might have better languished unsaid on a beach in Fiji. Later, a pissing match ensued, and the writing I do on this silly blog was used to illustrate what is wrong with me. I have spent some time considering what I write here, and why I write it, and what it all means when someone from my real life confuses what is written here for the truth of who I am. My little creative endeavors were not meant for other people to use as daggers. They are my daggers, dammit, and if I want to rant and rave and throw tantrums here on this little corner of the internet, I'm sure as hell going to do it. Well, that is what I have decided. I didn't want this person to have any access to my thoughts. That is why I have hiatusized my blog. I'm ready to stop censoring myself because of hurtful things that someone else said to me. I like having a thing to go to to write about what I'm thinking. Even if what I'm thinking is snarky, uninformed, or just plain nonsense. The thing is, sometimes what I'm thinking is worth writing about.
I am a flawed human being. Do not mistake me here: this blog may or may not be true. Please don't use it against me. Look for good stories, new pictures, and the adventures of me and my big white dog, who now has some grown-up teeth!
