Egg nog; Jubelale; Honey

This morning, at the grocery store, in the dairy section: egg nog. Now is that really necessary?
It ain't even Halloween yet, and they are stocking the goddamned egg nog?
Also, where does one get Halloween Candy? I missed it when it was on the shelves over the Fourth of July weekend. While shopping for my candy canes this morning, I noticed that the Jubelale is out now, too. You win some, you lose some, know what I'm sayin'? Still, I find that the Jubel is best enjoyed mid-December through the New Year. Not before, and not after.
It's a shame the way the americonomy has merged all fall and winter celebrations into a crapulous, misshapen gaudy commercial. I know, I know. Nobody has time for celebrating things separately anymore. We've got alot to do, between working too much, talking on the cell phone during our extreme commute, and watching TV.

I skipped over the nog and the Jubel and made my way home through the autumn morning fogbank. Cooper met and old man dog who ignored him completely, despite Cooper's maddening and incessant demands for this sweet old thing's attention. My friend Goldilocks has met a man she rather fancies. They call each other "honey" already, after having been acquainted less than a month. This was puzzling to the VBM and me. We thought it a little early, but then again, we refer to each other as "Hans." *

*Herro, Hans.

I'm going to make an extreme commute to the store for some good old fashioned Decemberween Jack-o-Clauses, and Cadbury Eastermas Candycorncanes. Mmmmm. . .
