After much searching for a shelter or rescue dog, the VBM and I have taken the plunge and put down a deposit on a samoyed boy puppy, who will be ready for us to take home the last weekend of September. If anyone has some good names in mind, send them to me at hellozetta(at)gmail(dot) com.
In our discussion about getting this pup, the VBM sheepishly admitted he might prefer a malamute, because a malamute is more manly than a white fluffy dog. Since he was in the process of making two peach pies in that moment, I just couldn't take him too seriously. After all, I likes me a man with a hairy chest who bakes pies!
I have been not writing, not cooking, not riding horses, and in general just not. I think I may be ready to come out now, or at least come out long enough to go to the pet store and stock up on collars, kongs, rope toys, and deep breaths.
Note: I am so fucking sick of the bullies on the world playground, ruining it for all of us and calling it god.
