sweltering in the heartland

I'm in Minneapolis right now. (Hey MN bloggerfriends--I'll get with you next time. This time I was long on tasks, short on time.)
It is approximately ten thousand degrees outside. The heat is unbelievable and heavy and not even remotely ok. I have been having a great time reconnecting with old friends and my family. Though the drinking is a bit excessive, I am still feeling strong. One more night to go.
What else is there, though, when you are smoking a cuban cigar with your very first spiritual teacher, and laughing about the amazing sweetness all around you?

It's all good. I was out of town, too.
