I can feel it... coming in the air tonight

For Valentine's Day, I got the VBM Miami Vice: Season One. Because I'm romantic like that.
He loved it, and we've been watching Sonny Crockett walk around in his stupid loafers needing a shave ever since. The inspiration for this gift came from my old friend Michele, who got the same gift for Christmas, and was very excited about it. At the time, she remarked, "It just takes me right back." I had occasion to have a conversation with Michele today and I told her about the Miami Vice gift and explained the excitement. She expounded for some time on how this groundbreaking show had changed television. It is, in her mind, classic television. I laughed at her enthusiasm, because it was funny. She had this to say when it was all said and done, in relation to Miami Vice:
"I put it where it is, I keep it where it is, and...I love what it is!"
Hold on, hold on.

Ask VBM about his Sonny Crocket phase. I think I remember it involving a white blazer with the cuffs rolled up, a pastel sleeveless t-shirt, and loafers with no socks. I think there are even some photographs somewhere. Then again, I was 8 and may have been imagining it.
