In Memoriam

The world is a little bit empty today. There is less honesty, less strength, a little less watercolor painting going on. There is less laughter.

When I was a little girl, my grandmother taught me my first swearword (a solid beginning to a long, colorful career in cursing). The word she handed down was: Bullshit. I've been saying it ever since.

Peace be with you, Gramma. I hope you are free to move every which way, reunited with lost loves shot down over foreign lands, and light as a feather. You will be sorely missed, and fondly remembered.

Oh honey. I am sorry for you and your gramma, and if there is anything I can do for you, let me know. Cake is on its way. Much love to you.

So so sad. I am sorry for the loss of that wonderful woman in your life. Maybe you will want to tell some more Gramma stories, so we can all know her a little better and she will live on in that way. Much love to you.

Z,

I'm really sorry about your grandma's passing. She's sounded like a great person. Anyone who was a part of bringing you to this world is great in my book. By all means, more Grandma stories, if you feel comfortable with doing so.
